A nice afternoon exploring! This trip included a ferry ride, Cup and Muffin, a stop at the local Alpaca Farm, and a darling little town on the water called Port Townsend.

Stocker Farms

Ok this one is really special. Stocker Farms offers a great family friendly afternoon, filled with pumpkin picking, a corn maze, pony rides, getting up close and personal with turkeys and goats, along with great snacks, a really cute farm market, and a ton of FUN. I hope to make this a new yearly tradition, and so should you!! The cost is about $9.00 a person and worth every penny. Stocker Farms is located maybe an hour north of downtown Seattle. Charming Port Gamble, WA

Port Gamble, Washington….. A trip to Edmond’s, ( located about 30 minutes north of Seattle) then a ferry ride to Kingston, (20 minutes across Puget Sound) and another 10 minute drive just down the road will get you to this little gem!!! I’m gonna let the pictures do the talking this time. Enjoy!

Capilano Suspension Bridge, Treetop Adventure, and Cliffwalk

Capilano Suspension Bridge is located about two and a half hours north of Seattle, in Vancouver, BC. This little park packs a serious punch. There is so much to see and explore, for the entire family. The $32.95 adult entry fee covers the Suspension Bridge, Treetop Adventure, and the “one of a kind” Cliffwalk. If you are afraid of heights, this is not the place to visit. You might want to consider the gift shop, or cafe instead. The Washington Coffee Hut

Everyone knows that Starbucks started here in Seattle, and most people are familiar with Seattle Best Coffee as well. However, did you know that Washington has an abundance of coffee huts?? Well let me tell you this, there is no shortage of coffee in the Pacific Northwest. These little drive up coffee huts are everywhere. They all have their own design and charm to tempt the locals to try their coffee. I have to confess, I found my favorite The Cup and Muffin in Kingston, on the Olympic Peninsula. The price is usually comparable to other coffee places, but the convenience of the drive up or walk up is something to be desired. I will continue to add to this post because there are coffee huts everywhere!!!! They are too cute to pass up, so If you want coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or just a cookie this is a quick and easy way to enjoy.

One of the cutest coffee places Ive found! The Cup & Muffin has a fantastic Mocha that will knock your socks off. A great Ferry Ride across Puget Sound (with amazing views of Mt Rainier) will take you to Kingston, WA where you will find this diamond in the rough. The people are just as great as the coffee.
