Chateau St Michelle, Christine Cox, Seattle Commercial Photographer

I took a walk this afternoon on the trail next to Chateau St Michelle and decided to stop and check it out. This is something I have wanted to do for three years now, and I finally got to it. The pathetic part is that it is probably about 2 miles from my house. Chateau St Michelle is located in Woodinville, WA and is known for their award winning wines. The French style Chateau is worth checking out on its own. I think a wine tasting is in my near future! Here is some additional information if you would like to check them out.

Chihuly Garden and Glass …..WOW what can I say other then, it costs about $19.00 to get in and it is well worth every penny. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Long Beach Washington

Long Beach isn’t exactly near Seattle, Its about a 3 to 4 hour drive south near the Oregon border. So peaceful, so beautiful, and just delightful. Long Beach is located on a peninsula and offers shopping, hotels, restaurants, and abundance of family friendly stores, to make everyone happy. Looking forward to spending more time there myself. Hanging in the clouds at Hurricane Ridge

Hurricane Ridge is located across Puget Sound on the Olympic Peninsula. Each time you visit, it is an entirely different display of natural beauty. There could be 20ft of snow, clouds so thick you cant see the road, or amazing views of the mountains for as far as the eye can see. The cost to get into the Olympic National Forest is a mere $15.00. This is a MUST see, MUST do, on your next visit to Seattle. Be safe though, there are black bears, elk, deer, grouse, pica, porcupine, and cougars, running wild. Capilano Suspension Bridge, Treetop Adventure, and Cliffwalk

Capilano Suspension Bridge is located about two and a half hours north of Seattle, in Vancouver, BC. This little park packs a serious punch. There is so much to see and explore, for the entire family. The $32.95 adult entry fee covers the Suspension Bridge, Treetop Adventure, and the “one of a kind” Cliffwalk. If you are afraid of heights, this is not the place to visit. You might want to consider the gift shop, or cafe instead. Pacific Northwest BBQ

Rooters is located in Black Diamond, WA on the way to Sunrise at Mt Rainier. Its a great little BBQ place with charm and decor to match. I found myself just taken by the Northwestern mix of awesome photography and the rustic outdoors. Dinner was a good mix of brisket, baked beans and homemade coleslaw. For around $10.00 you can enjoy just about anything on the menu. This will now be a regular stop on the way to Sunrise!!!!

A little park with a lot of punch

This one of a kind park is hidden in one of the Fremont’s hill side residential neighborhoods. A short walk leads you to a staircase that walks you down a metal line path to a scenic opening, that will take your breath away. This park has the artistic side that Fremont is known for and the beauty and serenity of making you feel like a king looking over his kingdom. The small metal liner that trims the trail exits the park and ground, to wind into a metal post. It has a message inscribed on it-but your going to have to go find it-to see what it says.
