Salish Lodge is about 30 miles outside Seattle, and it is right next to Snoqualmie Falls to boot. That makes this is a two for one deal, dinner and entertainment. This gorges water fall is actually taller than Niagara Falls in Canada, and thats pretty impressive. The lodge hosts a wonderful upscale Thanksgiving dinner every year that is to die for. A four corse meal that included bisque, your choice of two salads, potatoes, light vegetables, stuffing, crandberry sauce, and an individual turkey for each table, along with your choice of desert. The surprise at the end of the meal is that they will package up your Turkey for you to take home. (Woohoo, leftovers :)Thanksgiving dinner in the dinning room cost $70.00, and dinner at the buffet cost $65.00. The atmosphere at the lodge is wonderful, people reading, warming themselves by the fire, and even enjoying time in the Library. In the evening the outside has just as much character as the inside does. A nice walk over a quaint bridge with a stunning view of the lodge, will take your breath away. Two thumbs up for a wonderful Thanksgiving.
