• Alive in Seattle

This site is for new transplants, or ole Seattleites. Its filled with: Things to do, Places to go, and People to see, (in my opinion of course) in and around the Seattle area. I will try to provide actual facts and as many images as possible.

Now, let me tell you a little something about me. I'm new to the area, which make me perfect for this site. I will capture my latest adventures in and around Seattle and share what I find with you, this way you can go out and see them too. Ok, so somethings you may have already seen, but please don't rain on my parade-because I haven't.

    Thank You,
    Your latest transplant!!!

A trip to Twilight

An Amazing 3 1/2 hour trip to Forks and La Push. This is such a beautiful drive around the Olympic Mountains and well worth the wait. The images below are from La Push and Ruby beach. Second beach at La Push, is almost a mile walk on a small trail through a beautiful part of the forest. Once arriving, you have to climb over sever feet of washed up trees on the shore. But WOW is all I have to say. It doesn’t surprise me that they filmed the Twilight movies here, words just cant describe these beautiful Sea Stacks.

A little park with a lot of punch

This one of a kind park is hidden in one of the Fremont’s hill side residential neighborhoods. A short walk leads you to a staircase that walks you down a metal line path to a scenic opening, that will take your breath away. This park has the artistic side that Fremont is known for and the beauty and serenity of making you feel like a king looking over his kingdom. The small metal liner that trims the trail exits the park and ground, to wind into a metal post. It has a message inscribed on it-but your going to have to go find it-to see what it says.
